Vaghar Haghiri, Head of People and Talent, joined BillionToOne in December 2021 as the company’s first People Operations hire. He leads all People functions, including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Learning & Development, and Compensation. During his tenure, BillionToOne scaled from 100 to 700 employees while maintaining a high-performance, high-engagement culture recognized with Great Place to Work certifications (2024, 2025) and Forbes’ America’s Best Startup Employers awards (2024, 2025). With over 15 years of HR Operational leadership experience and a background in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University, Vaghar combines technical expertise with strategic people operations to drive organizational growth and exceptional employee experiences.
